Raspberry Zinger Cake
Fun to make, great taste, but a bit sweeter than my grown up taste buds like. Does anyone else notice that your grown up taste buds don't remember things the same as when you where a child?
That aside if you like raspberry and coconut this cake is still a great choice.
1 box white cake mix made per instructions and baked in a loaf pan. So that you get the rectangular shape of a Large Zinger.
Mix up raspberry jello, poke wholes in the top of the cake and pour jello over top. Cool.
A butter cream frosting mix in 3 Tablespoons of Raspberry Jam to frosting along with some red food coloring. spread over the entire cake. Then press shredded coconut into the frosting and there you have it!
They really do look like the old-fashioned zingers. I love to visit here. The always seems to be something new and different. I hope you have a great day. Blessings...Mary
